Supported Browsers & Operating Systems

Apple OS


To use the Lightning Bolt mobile application on an Apple device, you'll need:

  • iOS version 14.0 or greater

Android OS

To use the Lightning Bolt mobile application on an Android device, you'll need:

  • OS version 10.0 or greater

 

Windows

To use Lightning Bolt Web Console on Windows, you'll need:

  • Windows 10 or later
  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE2 capable
  • Minimum Browser Support
    • Chrome 87, or 89 and greater
    • Firefox 84.0 and greater
    • Microsoft Edge 80 and greater
Note: Servers require Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, or Windows Server 2016.

 

Mac

To use the Lighting Bolt Web Console on Mac, you'll need:

  • OS X Ventura 13 or later
  • Minimum Browser Support
    • Chrome 87, or 89 and greater
    • Safari 14 and greater

 

Linux

To use Lightning Bolt Web Console on Linux, you'll need:

  • 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04+, Debian 10+, openSUSE 13.3+, or Fedora Linux 24+
  • An Intel Pentium 4 processor or later that's SSE2 capable
  • Minimum Browser Support
    • Chrome 87, or 89 and greater

 

Note: It's possible that Lightning Bolt may open on other platforms or versions not listed here. Support is limited to systems that meet the minimum requirements. Lightning Bolt does not provide support on any system that does not meet the specified criteria.

 

Checking Browser Version

If you have one of the recommended Browsers above, but are unsure if you are using the most current or recommended version, here is how you can check:

  • Chrome:
    • Open Google Chrome.
    • Click the three-dot Menu button in the top right corner of the browser. 
    • Select Help and About Google Chrome.

  • Firefox:
    • Open Firefox.
    • Click the Menu button.
    • Select Help and About Firefox.

  • Edge Chromium:
    • Open Microsoft Edge.

    • Select Settings and more at the top of the window and select Settings .

    • Scroll down and select About Microsoft Edge.
