Viewer: Requesting in Blocks

This is a new feature that allows Administrators to require an assignment to be requested in a block of time greater than one day. There are two components; how many days the block is (2-7 days) and the start day of that block (either any day or you can specifically set it to start on Monday or Sunday). When a user submits a request that is designated as a blocking request, the request will be entered as a block for the required length.

Viewer: Show/Hide Times in a Calendar View

There is now an option to show or hide times for a Calendar View under the FINALIZE options. Calendar Views are set to hide times by default. To enable, edit the view in View Manager, and navigate to the FINALIZE section.

View Manager: Auto-Add Personnel and Assignments Toggle

This is a new feature that gives the ability to set Views to auto-add any new personnel and assignments that join that department, instead of having to manually add the new items to existing Views upon creation. 

For personnel, if they are added to any department included in the View settings, they will be automatically added to the bottom of the Selected Personnel list. That order can then be adjusted as needed.

For assignments, if they are added to any template included in the View settings, they will be automatically added to the bottom of the Selected Assignments list. That order can then be adjusted as needed.

The auto-add feature is set to Off by default.

Analytics & Administration Drop-Down Links

In Viewer, there are now links in the Lightning Bolt symbol (top left of the screen) dropdown menu for easier access to Analytics and Administration.

Integrations: Secure Messaging

Lightning Bolt now provides support to integrate your Lightning Bolt Scheduling Solution with PerfectServe and Telmediq Secure Messaging Solutions. 

Viewer: Printing Changes

You can now print Calendar and Columns Views in Viewer, where previously these View formats were not able to be printed. 

 

Bug Fixes:

Setup: Personnel not Included in Filter Dropdown

  • This bug fix corrects an issue where some personnel would not be shown in Viewer when trying to filter based on personnel, now all personnel will correctly display to filter.

Viewer: Fixing Arrow Keys in Place When Changing Date Range

  • The location of the arrow keys used in Viewer to change months previously depended on the length of the month name. This has been corrected, and the arrow keys now stay in place.

Viewer: Slots are Full Error Message for Requests not Staying Displayed

  • Previously, the error message that appears when you attempt to schedule a personnel in an assignment where the slots are full for that day would disappear too fast for you to see. This error message now stays displayed until you dismiss it.

Viewer: Printing Page Cutoff

  • This bug fix corrects an issue where pages were being cut off early when printing, forcing them to print on two or more pages.
