What if I chose one person while selecting multiple people that is not eligible for the assignment being requested?
The request will go through for all the eligible providers on the days selected. For the ineligible provider, you will get a pop up error message to let you know that the particular request did not go through.
For example, in the below picture, requests were made for multiple people (Dr. Farmer, Dr. Fisher and Dr. Curie) on multiple days (08/11/2014, 08/12/2014, 08/13/2014) for the PTO assignment. Dr. Farmer and Dr. Fisher were eligible for the assignment and so their request went through. However Dr. Curie is not eligible for PTO and so, the request made for Dr. Curie did not go through but instead gave an error pop up message.
What if I’ve added a request that I do not want to submit how do I clear it from the calendar?
If you want to clear out all requests that are highlighted in yellow on the request calendar for submission, select the clear button above and the highlighted day(s) will all be cleared.
If you do not want to clear out all options, just a few, simply click on the calendar day(s) that are highlighted and they will become un-highlighted.
I tried to move a request that was denied and I was not able to?
The only user who can move a denied request is a user who is setup with administrative privileges. If a non-administrator attempts to move a denied request, they will the get a pop-up letting them know the move cannot be completed.

I tried to delete a request and got a message that I can only delete requests made by me. What does this mean?
This message will appear if a user attempts to delete a request that the user trying to delete did not make for themselves. The only users who can delete requests that were made by others are administrators.
I tried to delete a request and received a message that I do not have the necessary permissions, what does this mean?
This message will be displayed if a user attempts to delete, move or add a request for a personnel and Assignment Type combination they have not been given privileges to do so with.
I tried to make a request and received a message that there are not slots on that day, what does this mean?
If a message appears that there are not slots, this means there are not enough spaces for that assignment. As an example: If vacation was setup to only allow 3 people on any given day and a fourth person made a request for vacation, they would receive this message letting them know that their request cannot be added. Note: if this request is allowed, an administrator would need to go into setup and adjust the assignment recurrence pattern to allow for four personnel on that date. This can be accomplished for adding a new recurrence pattern using the specific dates option.
I tried to make a request and was told I cannot because I am already on another assignment. Why can I not make both requests?
This message will appear if a request is being made for two assignments that are incompatible. If these two assignments can be worked (requested) on the same day, by the same person, they should be setup as compatible.
After I have made my request, can I change the time later if needed?
No, time change of a request has to take place when it is first requested and cannot be modified after the request has been made. If a time change is needed, the request will need to be deleted and re-added with the correct time.
Can I submit one request with multiple start and stop time changes?
If you have multiple days selected the modified time will be set for all days being requested. If you need to set different start and stop times for different requests you will need to add them separately.
