The Catch-Up Tally feature can be utilized to give specific providers credit for working certain shifts. This feature may be helpful in preventing over-scheduling new providers or providers that have not been working for an extended period of time. Any equalization for a tally will take Catch-Up Tally data into account during scheduling. The units for the tally should also be considered when designating a Catch-Up Tally.
In the example below, Dr. D could be assigned a Catch-Up Tally of 5 if he was behind the clinic average by 5. This essentially means that all other providers in this tally will get assigned 5 shifts before Dr. D starts getting assigned the same shift.
