Bulk Action tools can be used to save time when making personnel changes. In particular, these tools can be used to add or remove eligible assignments to personnel and to add or remove personnel to personnel groups.
To do so, first navigate to Administration>Setup and then click on the Personnel tab. Then, select two or more personnel to update by clicking the checkbox next to each personnel.
In the Bulk Action dropdown, select Add eligible assignment(s) or Remove eligible assignment(s), which will result in a new window to do either.
In the left box, click on each assignment to either add or remove eligibility. Using the arrows, move the selected assignment(s) to the right box.
Once done, click Save Changes.
The above process can also be used to add or remove personnel to or from personnel groups.
Notes on modifying assignment eligibility:
- If Add eligible assignment(s) is selected, the left box will show all assignments belonging to the current department. If one of the selected personnel is already eligible for that assignment, the assignment will not be added again for that personnel.
- If Remove eligible assignment(s) is selected, the left box will show all assignments that the selected personnel is eligible for. If one of the selected personnel is not eligible for an assignment, no action will be taken for that personnel.
